Photo Album Remake

Here is another project I recently made for the craft show. I found all of these fabulous little photo albums in the clearance section at Target. They were crafty looking and perfect for covering. I made a bunch. This one features one of the Occasions Mini sets Essence of Love. I didn't think I would like this set at all, but once I started to see samples on Splitcoast, I started to fall in love with it.

First, I used the the solid Teal Bali Breeze Designer Paper to cover the book. For the focal point I punched a 1 1/4" circle in scrap paper and sponged summer sun ink into the circle to create the sun. Then, I used the punch out and covered the sun and brayered Taken with Teal over the entire piece of Glossy White cardstock until I was happy with the hue I had. Then I stamped the Essence of Love image in Stazon Black over the Teal background. Then I just layered it on Summer Sun, Taken with Teal and Basic Black. And there you have it.

Your sun is perfect! It even looks like it is glowing. I love it. I bet these sell like hotcakes for you.
