This is the second card that we did in my class last week and it features the Botanical Blooms Sale-a-Bration set. I really like watercoloring so I particularly liked this set. This is a changed up version of a card I saw on Splitcoast.
For the focal point of this card, we stamped the flower in Basic Black three times on Whisper White cardstock. We watercolored the flower with a blender pen or aqua painter and used Pretty in Pink, Regal Rose and Rose Red. After the flowers were cut out we added just a touch of Crystal Effects in the middle of the flower and a tiny little white bead. These flowers were added to the card with dimmensionals right over top where we stamped the leaves in Kiwi Kiss. And then the Get Well greeting from Sincere Salutations was added.
The card itself is Regal Rose and I added thin black layers to make it "pop". The designer paper is from Raspberry Tart and the ribbon is the new white organdy ribbon. It is just yummy. So elegant.

Ooooh, LOVE this! The dimension of the flowers is fabulous. And I agree that the black behind your layers really makes everything POP! Just gorgeous! :-)
