Scrapbook page... believe it or not

Every once in a while, I just get a picture, that HAS to be scrapbooked... and this is one of those pictures. Isn't this just the sweetest? These are two of my nieces-- Madison and Sammie. At this age Sammie wouldn't let anyone hold her and this is the first time Maddie ever met her and Sammie just took to her and let her love her. I think this picture tells it all.

This 6x6 page was really very simple and has no stamping on it... and used very few products. Just the kind of scrapbooking I like. I used the Accents and Elements Flower Fusion and Build a Flower-- with a few brads... and pieced together some rub-ons (of course) for the wording.

Set: none
Ink: none- no stamping
Cardstock: Old Olive, Purely Pomegranate, Pumpkin Pie
Accessories: Flower Fusion & Build a Flower Accents & Elements Kits, SAB Love & Happiness Rub-ons, Vintage Brads, Black Marker

Flower Fusion

This card makes me soooo
happy! It's the flower fusion! Honestly, I would have NEVER put these colors together... that's why I love that Stampin' Up! does it for me. The Flower Fusion felt flowers are so awesome. They are another new favorite product. They come in Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie and Purely Pomegranate. So they gave me the palette for this card. I used the beautiful Sale-a-bration set Friendship Blooms for this card and did a little masking. Then layered the felt flowers on top. Added a little bit of faux-stitching and a large pewter eyelet and voila-- a very happy card. Enjoy!

Set: Friendship Blooms
Ink: Basic Black, Old Olive, Purely Pomegranate and Pumpkin Pie to color
Cardstock: Whisper White, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, Purely Pomegranate
Accessories: Black Marker, Paper Piercer and Template, Black Brad, Flower Fusion, Large Pewter Eyelet, Large Eyelet punch and setter, stapler, Dimmensionals

Friendship Blooms

It's been a few days... sorry! Work has been a bear! So, to make up for it, I hope you like this sample. It is using the new Friendship Blooms SAB set. I think this is my favorite SAB set. I know I should have enough floral sets at one point, but I never seem to. I especially love the flourish piece in this set. Anyway... for this card, I stamped the flower in black on a pink floral piece of designer paper from the Flowers for You series and cut it out. I also re-stamped the flower on white cardstock and cut out the solid black flower in the middle and layered it on the pink flower and added a rhinestone brad. For the finishing touches I added some Fairytale ribbon originals at the bottom... and of course a RUB-ON word.... and ta-da! Hope you like it!

Set: Friendship Blooms
Ink: Basic Black, Whisper White Craft
Cardstock:
Pretty in Pink, Certainly Celery

Accessories:
Flowers for All designer paper, Fairytale Ribbon Originals, Black Brads, Ice Rhinestone Brad, Paper Piercer, Love and Happiness Rub-Ons

And, here's another samples of the same card with different colors. This card was influenced by the Fall Flowers designer paper-- so for this card I used Soft Sky, Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive. I decided to add in the Flower Fusion flowers-- which I'm totally in love with by the way-- just for fun.

Set: Friendship Blooms, Short and Sweet
Ink: Basic Black, Old Olive
Cardstock: Old Olive, Soft Sky, Pumpkin Pie
Accessories: Old Olive Grosgrain Ribbon, Black Brads, Flower Fusion, Fall Flowers designer paper

Belated Valentine's Day Project

Here is a [late] Valentine's Day project for you... but honestly we should share love-- and eat chocolate all days.
We made these at my Sale-a-bration class this week and everyone just loved them. I found these really cute red tins in the dollar bins at Michaels. We punched holes in the sides with the Crop-a-dile... and then made a handle out of grosgrain ribbon. Then I used a rub-on from the Love and Happiness set (from Sale-a-bration of course) for the top of the tin. It's hard to see, but I added a little white and red tag on the side that says "I love you" from the Short and Sweet set and tied it on with red gingham ribbon.

Inside is some shreaded paper and red chocolate hearts. Too
cute huh!

A little birdie told me...

February is a busy month for stampin'. Sale-a-bration is always busy I guess. I have a class tonight so I've been cutting and cutting and cutting for days. But I so enjoy having my stampin' friends over... tonight will be fun. I'll be showing off the cards we are making over the next few days. They are all with the fabulous Sale-a-bration sets.
Today's card is very simple and once again with my favorite new set, Always. Here I used the little birdie and colored in all of the flowers. It also includes the pretty Ginger Blossom paper and another favorite embellishment-- Build-a-Brad. How can you really go wrong with that combo?

Cardstock: Chocolate Chip, River Rock, Groovey Guava

It's Sale-a-Bration Time

YEAH!!! We look forward all year to Sale-a-bration time... and it's finally here. Sale-a-bration is the best time of the year for Stampin' Up! fans. And today I have another rub on project featuring the sale-a-bration rub ons available for FREE! These rub ons are from the Love and Happiness rub on set. The tin was full of flowers, but is so much cuter with pink kisses. I just wrapped the ti
n with Berry bliss paper and Kraft Taffeta ribbon, added a tag and rubbed on my rub ons on the clear plastic top. Cute huh?
