Sweet Celebrations

My new favorite designer paper is the Berry Bliss paper... it's scrumptious. I could almost eat it! Here is a sample with the new set Sweet Celebrations, which we received at Leadership Conference in Palm Springs. It's a cute set, perfect for stamping and scrapbooking. This card could be used for Birthday or for almost any occasion because the focal point says "Celebrate Today." But because I highlighted the heart in the middle with the build-a-brad, I planned on using it as a Valentine's card. Have you like it!

I'm a rub on maniac!!!!

Every time I sit down to stamp, I find myself diverted to the rub ons again and again. Last weekend I was suppose to be working on projects for my stamp club but I got a little distracted and rubbed up this cut candle. This is the rub on set Love and Happiness that you can get FREE during Sale-a-Bration. When doing rub ons on a round surface, I found it's easiest to tape it on and then rub away. I didn't have any troubles at all. Let me know what you think.

Another Cosmo Glitter Card

Playing with the Fine Cosmo Glitter and Sticky Cut Out Letters again. I told you I'm NOT a glitter girl... but my stamp room and my dog sure look like it! This glitter is everywhere... but it is soooo pretty!!! This card uses the rub ons and the flower from the Sale-a-bration mini. The rub-ons in the mini are the best! They come four sheets in the pack and come in chocolate, olive, black and white!!! I'm gonna have to stock up! Enjoy!

Glazed over by glitter

So, I'm not really a glitter girl. But I was at the Stampin' Up! Leadership Convention last week and I saw the new fine cosmo glitter being used with the sticky cuts letters and I rushed to the computer to buy them. I LOVE it! It's really fabulous... and seriously I'm not a glitter girl. So, here is a cute card to tempt you with. The letters are sticky on both side, like the red sticky strip and you just sprinkle the beautiful superfine glitter (like dazzling diamonds) over top and it sticks to it. Whadaya think?

I'm ADDICTED to the New Rub Ons

My favorite new product in the catalog is the rub-
ons. I know what you're saying... rub-ons. Like the kind from the '70's with the popsicle stick.... yep. But these are top notch... the best quality you will find. They aren't like the ones you will find at the black market stores. These are the BEST! Trust me. You can use them on almost anything... paper, word, metal, glass, plastic, you name it. I've seen them on things like votive cups, mugs, glass or metal picture frames, all kinds of items.

I've been playing with them a lot and here is one of my favorite samples. They are very very easy to use. I've not had one chip or come off half way, or anything like that. On cards, you cannot even tell it's a rub-on. It looks like it's stamped.

So,
Sale-a-Bration is just around the corner, February 1-March 17... and among the 6 FREE sets in the Sale-a-Bration flyer is a set of rub-ons. You get 4 pages of rub-ons-- and get this-- they match one of the other sets AND there are four sheets and come in chocolate chip, old olive, black and white. YEAH!!! I'm just over the moon about this!

Here is a sneak peak at the Sale-a-bration flyer... if you like what you see, feel free to e-mail me today to
set up your workshop or book party between Feb 1- March 17. Remember for every $50 in sales you get to choose a free set and every hostess gets a free set as well. Sale-a-Bration is the BEST time to host a workshop!

I'm Baaack

Great news... I've finally got my camera back. The story is even longer and more ridiculous but I won't bore you with it. I still hate Best Buy, even more than before mind you, but that's all I'll say.

I spent that last week at Stampin' Up!'s leadership conference in sunny Palm Springs, California. It was fabulous. Warm and wonderful. I learned a lot and met some really sweet demonstrators. I also got to hang out with my good friend Sheri which was really fun. You should really check out her blog.

So what do you think of the new Spring-Summer Catalog? I'm loving it. I've been playing with my new sets. Here is a new sample with one of my favorite new sets, A Beautiful Thing. I hope you enjoy it.

Set: A Beautiful Thing
Ink: Versamark, Basic Black
Cardstock: Basic Black, Whisper White
Accessories: Black Grosgrain, Rectangle Handheld Punch, 1/16" Punch, Red Rhinestone Punch

Happy 2008 To You!!

Can you believe another year has gone by? Where does the time go? I hope everyone had a fabulous Christmas holiday and a great new year's. It's back to normal... back to work.
I apologize for being absent for so long. I took the trek back home to Ohio for the holidays to visit the family. Got to see mom and dad, brothers and the nieces and nephews. It was a good visit. Cold, but good. But then again, it's very very cold here in NC today.

I have nothing new to show you, as I have not been stamping lately. Even if I have been, I have no digital camera. Yes, my brand new digital camera is not working. Can I just say that I HATE Best Buy! I bought this Cannon PowerShot back at the very end of September and it has never worked right but they kept telling me it was my batteries, and then my charger, so I kept buying more batteries and then a new charger... come to find out it's the darn camera. So, even though it has never worked--they won't take it back because it is past their 14 day return policy. So they took the camera OVER THE CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY and sent it away to be FIXED. On top of all this, they didn't get it back to me when they promised. Are you kidding me! I'm not very happy about this... can you tell? I'm trying to ban the world from Best Buy and their horrendous return policy. Sure they have good deals, but you better be sure it works... or you're out of luck. I'll get off my soapbox now!

Anyway, that's why I don't have anything to share, because I'm out a digital camera. So, you'll just have to settle for a link to the brand spankin' new Stampin' Up! catalog... It's fabulous... I think you'll agree. I'll be back soon with new samples from the new catty and the Sale-a-bration sets to whet your appetite.
Enjoy!
